I’m Craig Taylor and I’m sick and tired of seeing fake review sites that are created by affiliate marketers. These sites rank crappy products at the top just because they offer the biggest commission payouts.
I was looking for reviews on satellite tv for pc programs and came across one of these fake review sites, and got suckered into buying their “highest ranked” product. I paid $99.95 for the damn software that promised to deliver thousands of channels – and then found out that OVER HALF the channels couldn’t be connected to, and the rest had such poor video quality that I got dizzy from watching them after a few minutes.
What added insult to injury was that when I decided to get a refund, I went back to the site that sold the software and couldn’t even find a refund policy anywhere.
Enraged (read: extremely pissed off), I made a call to my credit card company to ask for a chargeback. Luckily I was able to get that money back without further problems.
After that experience, I vowed to NEVER again buy any type of software from companies that:
1)hasn’t been online for at least a few years,
2)don’t offer refunds on their products.
I ended up buying several satellite tv on pc software from reputable companies that had refund policies. In the end I picked one and refunded the rest without any hiccups. The trick (like I mentioned) is to only buy from established and reputable companies that you know won’t risk a bad name over a few bucks.
Along the way, I figured out that the “highest ranking” products on a majority of these fake review sites happen to be some of the worst I evaluated. Not surprisingly, they also happened to be the ones with the biggest price tags. Go figure!
To combat this unpleasant trend, I’ve created this review site based on my own genuine and unbiased experience with the 5 satellite tv on pc software that I’ve used. I make recommendations based on product quality and value, without trying to rip people off over a few bucks.
Moreover, I encourage other consumers of these software to leave their own ratings and reviews as well, just so you won’t have to take my word as the final verdict.
