Of the 5 software I bought and tried out, Direct PC TV is the only one I didn’t refund, and for good reasons.

Direct PCTV comes with a whopping 9000+ channels, most of which had great video quality (more so than the other 4 products), with a reasonable price tag of $39.95 (one-time payment).

Direct PC TV is the software I highly recommend that you choose. However, if you want to save $5 and you’re willing to settle for “only” 3000+ channels, the ISoftwareTV program may be the ideal choice for you.

The only downside of Direct PC TV is that I’m now spending too much time in front of my computer, mostly watching tv series and movies and sports. The plus side though, is I’m saving big on movie tickets and snacks from the theatre – I never really realize how much that was costing me every month until I stopped going.

Did I mention Direct PC TV is my favorite software of the 5? I give it #1 ranking, plus both thumbs up!

ISoftwareTV Review

Priced at $34.95, the ISoftwareTV software is the cheapest “satellite tv on pc” type software I could find online. The video quality of most of the tv channels is pretty good – about the same as for the “Satellite TV for PC 2009″ software series – but ISoftwareTV is considerably cheaper.

Although ISoftwareTV is the cheapest software I found, it may or many not give you the best value for your money (depending on how you look at it). I chose to pay $5 more and get the Direct TVPC software with 6000 more channels than ISoftwareTV. However, if 3000+ channels are enough for you, then ISoftwareTV may be a good choice for you.

All in all, I do recommend the ISoftwareTV program – it gives good value. However, I still prefer the Direct TVPC Software – see what I have to say about it by clicking here.

Satellite TV for PC 2009 Professional Edition Reviewed

This is the cheapest option of the “Satellite TV for PC 2009″ software series produced by SatelliteSoft. At $39.95 (one-time payment), this software allows you to watch 2800+ tv channels on your pc or laptop. Although the price is nice and low, you’d still be better off spending your money on the Direct PC TV software, which costs the same price but comes with 6000+ more channels.

Satellite TV for PC 2009 Elite Edition Reviewed

This is the second highest priced option of the “Satellite TV for PC 2009″ software series produced by SatelliteSoft. At $49.95 (one-time payment), Satellite TV for PC 2009 Elite allows you to watch 3000+ tv channels on your pc or laptop. This version costs $10 more than the Professional Edition but only gives you around 200 channels more (the professional edition has 2800+ channels compared to its 3000+). To me the extra 200 channels doesn’t justify paying the extra $10 but you may disagree. I would sooner recommend Direct PC TV, which has 6000+ more channels (with 9000+ channels) and costs $10 less ($39.95).

Satellite TV for PC 2009 Titanium Edition Reviewed

This is the highest-priced option of the “Satellite TV for PC 2009″ software series produced by SatelliteSoft. At $99.95 (one-time payment), Satellite TV for PC 2009 Titanium Edition allows you to watch 4000+ tv channels on your pc or laptop. Although the video graphics quality is OK, this software is definitely not my first choice. You can get much better value for a much lighter price tag – for example Direct PC TV has 5000+ more channels (9000+ channels in total!) and only costs $39.95 – that’s $60 cheaper!!
